All
Athelas Day Programs and Administrative Offices are closed on Monday,
9/6/10 in observance of
Labor
Day, Normal schedules resume on Tuesday, 9/7/10.

Training
Information
All
employees who work with our individuals are required to stay up-to-date
on *CPR/First Aide and BPS. Failure to stay in compliance will
result in suspension until trainings/refreshers are completed.
If you are unsure about your status, contact Tiffiney Cross at the
Administrative Office, extention 130 or at kgray@athelasinst.org.
DDA regulations may differ for ISS/CSLA staff. Contact your
supervisor for information.
*Please
note that both of these classes require comfortable clothing and shoes.
You will be required to perform certain activities on the floor.
CPR/First
Aide Schedules
Below
are schedules for mandatory CPR and First Aide training. All classes
start sharply at 9am. CPR is done the first part of the day then First
Aide Follows for those who need both.
It
is the end of the year and the weather can be tricky. Please call
the main office to check to see if class is scheduled in the threat
of any weather emergency. CPR and First Aide Classes are Mandatory
Classes required by DDA for any person working with an adult service
provider. You need to confirm your attendance by Dec 1, 2009 for these
classes.
No
call no show will result in $25 fine and you will be removed from
the work schedule until the completion of the course.

AUGUST
2010 CPR AND FIRST AID
CPR and First Aid are mandatory classes required by DDA for
any person working with an adult service provider. Please confirm
your attendance for these classes by Monday, July 26th. Call

Weather
Copies of the Athelas Inclement Weather Policy were distributed via
Carematic and should also be posted at each center. Please be
sure you read and understand this important document. A downloadable
copy is available here and the list of radio stations that will
broadcast closings and delays can be downloaded
here.
In
addition to listening for a radio broadcast, you can call the Administrative
office, at 410.964.1241, after 6:30 a.m. for a recorded message or
check the web site.
